While packing my room just now, i found this essay that i have written during my secondary 4.

Topic: My kind of Music

Music can be in different forms. Different rhythm, different styles. Pop? Classical? Baroque? Life can also be in its musical form, with its fast rhythm during the hectic days or in its slow romantic way where the human can sit down and relax. Mandarin pop songs or music instrumental songs are not my kind of music. My kind of music is my whole life journey.

The day i was born was when my music starts. Soft and slow rhythm starts when i was a baby. Every single notes on the score sheet of my music marks my every action. An abrupt loud, staccato part was the part where i was crying and pestering my parents. As i grew, my introduction of music stabilised and music got smoother. With the simple and plain melody, i decided to add other instruments to my music so as to let it sound better when i reach my primary school life. With more friends and new knowledge added to my life, my rhythm got faster and i got the hang of the new part of my music easily. Flats and sharps were added to my keys when school workload got heavier, and when i made more enemies. When i could not catch up with the new melody, i changed the movement of it. I create a new chapter for my music. And that was also the turning point of my life. I could not be so dependent on my family as much as before and this is the stage where i need to grow mature. The rebellious stage.

I grew bad-tempered and impatient, refusing to listen to my parents. This results a very fast rhythm and modern style of the piece. Unusual behaviour of me in turn cause my music to sound weird. Repetition occurred frequently when i kept repeating my wrongdoings. The dynamic was loud throughout the song at this stage because i was rebellious. It sound agitated just like an ant on a wok.

Secondary school life made me look so minute, a person that is still so immature, behaving wilfully and rough. New friends i had made gave me advices and directions to the new path of my life. Obstacles and difficulties seemed diminished in my music, my melody has changed from Affrettando to Piacevole, which meant that my song has changed from a hurrying, unpleasant rhythm to a gentle, soothing rhythm. I learnt from my seniors and teachers and i came to know the term of "lady". I changed myself from a "tomboy" to a "lady" with guides from people around me, supporting me. As i developed, I foresee a part of music has become suss. Primo in Italian appeared in that sweet part of melody. This meant, "the first time". A romantic and delicate style of music started after i finished playing the Piacevole part. I had a chemistry with a schoolmate I will see every morning at the Volleyball court. Romance went on for one and a half year and i experienced a breakup. My song turn melancholy and slow during the breakup, dynamic got so soft that it almost died away. But luckily i got a few strong and loud drums and bass that woke my up from the depression.

I experienced ups and downs, success and failures in my life. Tune of my music kept changing too. My kind of music describes my kind of life. Every notes in my music represents every single details of my life. The kind of music that i had created means the kind of life that i want to live. I am the composer of my music.

Nice? Bit kiddish ba... But i think it was my best compo i have written so far.

Its copyright k?
It's my essay ah~
